Our Founder
Susan's story began at the gates of a children's home in Nairobi.Abandoned as an infant with no name and no resources, she was taken in and given a chance — fed, educated, and cared for by the compassionate staff who became her family. Under the guidance of Father Angelo D'Agostino, SJ, MD, Susan discovered something powerful: education could transform a life.Through relentless determination, the little girl with nothing became a woman who refused to let any child's potential go unrealized. Driven by her own journey and a deep passion for education, Susan founded Little D'Agostino Academy — named for the man who gave her a future by investing in her education.Susan's story teaches us that our origins don't define our destiny. Today, she's writing a different story for children in Kakamega County — proving that with love, education, and opportunity, even the most disadvantaged child can rise to change the world.
